I just recently became a mother to my first child and have decided to take the remainder of the current school year off to raise my son during his early stage of life. I truly enjoy working 1-1 with students and believe that it fosters confidence in learning that the student is able to take with them back to their classroom. Private tutoring also allows the student to work in the comfort of their own home and to have support from a different adult/teacher. Sometimes it just takes something to be explained in a different way with a different voice.

I enjoy being active whether it be going for a walk outside or completing a true workout (kickboxing, pure barre, running, strength training, yoga). In my high school years I was a competitive volleyball player who had to balance school, sports, and social time. I like to cook most days and bake when time allows me to. However, there are some days when that pizza delivery, trip to Chipotle, or meal at a local restaurant is wonderful. Being home more without a long commute, has given me more energy to do more of the things I enjoy.
